Online seller red flags

Use warning signs from WHO and DRAP to pause a purchase before money changes hands.

WHO advises buying from trusted licensed outlets. Avoid unregistered sites that hide a physical address or landline phone number. This is the clearest seller warning sign.

DRAP says buy from licensed pharmacies or other approved outlets. Check the goods carefully. A seller that is not a licensed outlet is a risk.

On narrow screens, swipe or scroll the plate sideways.

Price is a second signal. A price far below the DRAP maximum retail price may be a discount or a warning. It is not proof alone, but check the seller and product.

WHO also warns about spam ads, prescription-only medicines sold without a prescription, very low prices or two-for-one deals, and logos that cannot be checked.

This page does not name or judge sellers. It lists the patterns from WHO and DRAP so you can apply them.

  • No physical address or landline phone number on the site.
  • No match to a licensed pharmacy or approved outlet.
  • Price far below the DRAP maximum retail price.
  • Prescription-only medicines sold without a prescription.
  • A logo or certificate that cannot be checked.
